Ministries and Activities

The faith community of St. Gregory the Great Parish is a witness to the love of Christ by living out the Gospel values and our baptismal promises in the world. We work to accomplish this through the use of our gifts of time, talent and treasure as we serve God and one another in the many parish ministries found in our parish family.

Each ministry under these headings is equally important in the communal and spiritual life of the parish. New parishioners have continually expressed how they have been welcomed and drawn to a fuller participation through the example of those who are already living their faith by serving their church.

You are invited to answer the call to share your gift so that the Mission and Ministry of Jesus is continued in our parish and beyond. For more information, or to volunteer, please call the ministry leader or the Ministry Office

Baptism Registration: Kathy Mathis
Ministry Office

This Sacrament of initiation is the first step on our earthly spiritual journey as a child of God. It is not a “once upon a time” event, but only the beginning of a daily way of life to deepen our relationship with God. Parents and godparents are prepared to assist the child in living out this Sacrament. Ages include infants through 6 years. This program is offered on the first Saturday of each month (except July). Participants meet from 9:00 am to 11:30 am in the Garden Room of the church. Child care is available. Registration is required. To register, please call Kathy or the Ministry Office indicated above.

Adult Confirmation Preparation

Deacon Bill Horton

A six week program offered once a year, usually starting in January, to prepare adults seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation. Others who wish to renew, refresh or deepen their understanding of our Catholic faith, its role and teachings are also welcome. Consult the Parish bulletin or website for specific information. Registration for Confirmation is required

Catholic Scripture Study
