UPCOMING EVENTS
April 30,
2008
(Wednesday): 3RD and FINAL HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
MEETING
6:45 – 8:00pm. The topic is “Mom, I’m hungry and there is nothing to eat!” The speaker will be Christine Karras-Tillinghast, MPH, RD/LD. Christine is a regional
manager for Nestle Healthcare nutrition. She has a son, Reed, in KB. She will discuss
childhood obesity and provide suggestions for healthy snacks that kids will love.
For those of you that would like to see the Accreditation
Video we will be showing it before the meeting, beginning at 6:00 PM.
Don’t forget to sign in! The drawing for a credit of one free month
of tuition based on your support rate will take place. You will be eligible for the drawing if you attended all 3 Home and School Association meetings this
school year.
The class with the
highest attendance at the meeting will receive a Jeans and T-Shirt day!
Used uniforms will
be available before and after the meeting.
Baby-sitting services
will be available during the meeting. Please call the school office
for your reservation.
VOLUNTEERS
There are many opportunities to volunteer for one of the
HSA committees in the 2008/2009 School Year. We will be sending out more detailed
information before the end of this school year. If you are interested in volunteering,
please contact one of the HSA Board Members listed below.
