K - 8 APPLICATION FORMS
PRE-K APPLICATION FORMS
Our Campus Preview and New Student Application Day for the 2010-2011 school year will be held on
Sunday, January 10, 2010 at
St. Gregory School
from 8:00am to 1:30pm. We are pleased to announce
that all forms will be available to download on December 17th, 2009.
Testing
of all prospective students will take place on Saturday, January 23, 2010.
Please note that children entering Pre-Kindergarten
MUST be 4 years
old by September 1, 2010.
Children entering Kindergarten
MUST be 5 years old by September 1, 2010.
Please have with you the following items:

Child’s original birth certificate (copy).

Child’s baptismal certificate (copy) – this includes those baptized at St. Gregory
Church.

Child’s First Holy Communion certificate (copy) – for children
applying for 4th through 8th
grades. This includes those who received the sacrament at St. Gregory Church.

Non-refundable testing fee of $25.00
per student.

K-8 ONLY
– FAMILY APPLICATION: Families only applying for students entering grades
K-8 must pay a non-refundable Application fee of $200.00,
per family.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN ONLY – STUDENT APPLICATION: Families only applying
for students in Pre-Kindergarten must pay a non-refundable Application fee of $200.00
per student for children entering Pre-Kindergarten.

K-8 AND
PRE-K FAMILY APPLICATION: Families applying for a Pre-Kindergarten student(s)
and K-8 student(s) must pay the non-refundable Pre-Kindergarten Student Application
fee of $200.00 (per student entering PreK)
and the non-refundable K-8 Family Application fee of $200.00
(per family).
Applications
will not be processed if information is incomplete.
The Principal Criteria for Entrance into St. Gregory School:
- The
length of registered residence in St. Gregory Parish.
- The
regular practice of the Catholic Faith by the whole family.
- The
degree of activity in the various ministries and programs of the parish.
- The
regular support of St. Gregory Church in proportion to the means of the family.
- The
participation of prospective students in a parish religious program (CCD).
- The
factor of having siblings at St. Gregory School.
- Transfer
students from other Catholic schools.
- Qualified
students from parishes which do not have their own parish schools.
- Any
factor that in the opinion of the Administration merits special consideration.
