Ministry of Altar Servers
Both boys and girls in grades five through twelve who have received the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Eucharist assist the celebrant during the various Liturgical celebrations. To participate in this ministry call Cathy - (954) 581-9430.
Mandatory Training Session for All Current Altar Servers
All current altar servers are required to attend a mandatory training session on Monday, September 20, 2010 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm in the church.
Now that we are in our beautiful new surroundings there are many changes to the serving process that must be communicated. Please be prompt.

Altar Server Prayer
Father in heaven, your Son, Jesus showed his love for you by serving His needy
brothers and sisters. I now ask you to give me your help as I serve you
and your people. Open my mouth to praise you in word and song. Open my
ears to hear your Word. Open my hands to do your work well. Take from my
heart all evil and distracting thoughts. Help me to know what I should do,
and do it well. Help me serve reverently at your holy altar, and so give
you praise and glory, now and forever.

There have been a few changes to the process of the mass for the servers now that we are in the gym. Please ask the mass captain if you are unsure. One server will now be listed on the schedule to report to the parish center for mass. Please remember to dress appropriately, flip flops are not acceptable footwear.
Serving our Lord at mass is an honor and a privilege, so it is extremely important that if you are unable to attend your scheduled mass time, you must find a replacement. As always, you are welcome to volunteer at any time.
High school students will receive service hours twice a year by maintaining their scheduled mass times.
