Footprints

Young Adulthood has many challenges and difficulty. The Saint Gregory Footprints Group is dedicated to facing those challenges and providing support by improving and ministering the Love of Christ through solid friendships, wisdom of the bible, and uplifting events.

The Saint Gregory Footprints Group is dedicated to ministering and enhancing the spiritual and social needs of Catholic young adults between the ages of 24 and 39. We are based at Saint Gregory’s Catholic Church, 200 N. University Drive, in Plantation, FL, about ten minutes west of Downtown Fort Lauderdale in Broward County.

The Young Adult Ministry "Footprints" provides an environment where young adults can learn more about the wonders of Christ, have a friendly and loving environment to enjoy and deepen their understanding about their faith through prayer, and help them promote the joy of being a witness to Christ in the world and community.

Many people when they were young learned about their faith as children and teenagers – when they typically receive the sacraments. But with drastically changing times and increased responsibility, its easy to drift away from Church and their faith, and find themselves with a desire to know more about God, Christ and Catholics. Often, perhaps due to a major life experience such as a close family member dying or a break up in a relationship, people begin again to discover God. They have questions they want to voice and learn more about what the Church says on various issues.

Also, young adults comment on what there is in way of social activity that they feel is in line with their Christian values. To this end, Footprints provides not just to fulfill a spiritual agenda, but a rewarding social and community building program as well. The aim of Footprints is to meet these concerns, have fun and promote Christ to of many young adults.
