Dear Parents,

It is hard to believe that this year we will celebrate our 15th annual Grand Auction here at St. Gregory the Great School. This year’s Auction, “Saturday Night Fever”, will be held Saturday, March 1, 2008.

Over the years our auction proceeds have improved the facilities our children learn in and the tools our teachers have to work with. They have provided us with new computers, software, and inter-active white boards and have met the need for enrichment programs in Drama and the Fine Arts. The auction has contributed to new playground equipment, the school book store and a counselor’s office. Your contributions over the years have enriched our Scholarships for Teacher Enrichment Program endowment, ensuring that our teachers have the opportunity to grow in their field.

This year, auction funds will go toward refurbishing the outdoor bathrooms for the students as well as updating the school primary bathrooms. It is an important and unmet need of our school. Also, additional security cameras will be installed to provide maximum security for our students and staff while on campus.

With your continued support, the proceeds we generate from the Grand Auction will allow St. Gregory the Great School to remain the “great” school that it is. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and we hope to see you “Shake your Groove Thing” at our Grand Auction “Saturday Night Fever”!
